Ellie, a native of Tiffin, Ohio, is a 1998 graduate of Heidelberg University, graduating with honors.
She graduated from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, in 1998 in the Division of Continuing Education in connection with the University of Oxford, Oxford, England. She attended the Pre-Law Summer Study Program at the University of Oxford, Oxford, England. She attended the University of Dayton School of Law and earned her Juris Doctorate in 2001. In 2001, she was admitted to the practice of law in Ohio and has been an attorney in Tiffin since.
Ellie is a member of the Seneca County Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association. She is licensed in Ohio and admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
Serving the community, Ellie has been involved with the Tiffin City Landscape as a volunteer (2015 - present), as a board member of St. Francis Senior Ministries (2014 - present), the Christian Counseling Center (2011 - present) and Community Hospice Care (2006-2015), and as a YMCA Youth Soccer Coach (2010). She has also served on the Women’s Professional Development Committee for Heidelberg University (2005-2006) and has been a featured speaker for the New Educators’ Breakfast in Tiffin, Ohio (2004).
