JC Elgin

JC Elgin leads the firm's Florida operations, focusing his practice on estate planning and administration, taxation, and nonprofit law. In 2024, this Ohio Northern Polar Bear traded the bitter cold for the tropical climate of the Sunshine State.

Attorney Elgin designs estate and tax plans that protect family legacies, minimize tax exposure, and prepare for the unexpected. He helps individuals from millworkers to multimillionaires through creative and effective planning strategies tailored to each client's goals.

Having handled hundreds of estates over the years, Attorney Elgin knows firsthand how much a sound estate plan matters and what happens in its absence. Those experiences drive his conviction that every family deserves a comprehensive plan, in writing and in place before it is needed.

Attorney Elgin is admitted to practice in Ohio and Florida, before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio and the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, and before the United States Tax Court in Washington, D.C.

As an alumnus of THE Ohio State University, he bleeds scarlet and gray for OSU Football and Basketball.
