Joe brings exceptional legal acumen to his practice, particularly in Appellate Law. He served as a judicial law clerk for His expertise was sharpened by serving as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Alice M. Batchelder on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Joe earned his Juris Doctor from the Ohio State University College of Law.
Before entering the legal field, Joe developed a unique perspective on dedication and global service. A former college basketball player for the BGSU Falcons, he understands the value of teamwork and persistence. His experiences include two years of impactful mission work in Guatemala and a 2012 tour of China playing against professional basketball teams from the Chinese national league. These experiences cultivated his strong work ethic and cultural sensitivity.
Outside of the office, Joe is committed to his community and family. He and his wife, Jeanyne, are raising their four children and he channels his energy into coaching youth sports and long-distance running. He remains a proud and avid supporter of his alma mater, rooting for the BGSU Falcons.
